The event also welcomed the presence of the eighth Dan Aikika Fukakusa Motohiro from Japan. Besides offering training, he also showed off his special techniques to the delight of visitors.
Aikido is a Japanese martial art developed by Morihei Ueshiba in the20 th century as a synthesis of his martial studies, philosophy andreligious beliefs.
Entering Vietnam over 50 years ago, it isbeing developed in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and the provinces ofAn Giang, Khanh Hoa, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ba Ria–Vung Tau and LamDong.
Hanoi now has 10 Aikido clubs with about 2,000 Aikido practitioners.-VNA

The U23 competition will run from June 16 to 22, followed by the U17 event from June 23 to 28, while athletes competing in the U23 category will undergo weight and skill checks ahead of the matches starting June 18, while similar checks for U17 athletes will take place before June 23.
