Ha Long Bay – must go destination in a lifetime

Ha Long Bay of Vietnam has been included in the list of “100 trips you must take in your lifetime” recently released by the US magazine Business Insider.

The magazine recommended spending anight on a junk boat in the bay, amid a multitude of limestone islandsand islets rising from the sea, in a variety of sizes and shapes andpresenting picturesque, unspoiled nature.

The baycovers an area of 43,400 ha and includes over 1,969 islands and islets,most of which are uninhabited and unaffected by humans.

Recognised by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage in 1994, Ha Long Baywelcomes 2.5 million tourists each year, including 1 million foreignvisitors. It was voted as one of the world’s seven new wonders ofnature last year.

Da Nang fosters internat𓆉ional cooperation to boost tourism

Nearly 100 domestic and foreign delegates, including leaders of the Da Nang city People's Committee and the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, along with ambassadors and representatives from diplomatic agencies in Vietnam and those from travel firms, gathered in the central coastal city of Da Nang on January 17 for a seminar on advancing tourism development through international cooperation.
