ꦿ Intheir joint message, top leaders of the Lao party, state, government andparliament congratulated Vietnam for great, comprehensive achievements ofhistorical significance in the national construction, defence and developmentover the past 77 years; and described bilateral relations as an endless sourceof energy and decisive factor of the victory of the revolutionary cause of eachcountry. They also expressed profound gratitude to Vietnam for its great,timely and effective help. Under any circumstance, the party, state and peopleof Laos will continue to, together with their fraternal Vietnamesecounterparts, maintain and nurture the rare relationship, they stressed.
Topleaders of China also sent their greetings to their Vietnamese counterparts,speaking highly of Vietnam’s fine achievements recorded in the party buildingand national development over the recent past. They also affirmed theirattaching of importance to the development of the relations between the twoparties and states; and expressed their hope to, together with Vietnam,unceasingly consolidate the traditional, friendship, intensify strategiccontacts, and deepen the mutually beneficial cooperation. King Norodom Sihamoni and other leaders of Cambodia congratulated the party, state and people of Vietnam ontheir great achievements over the recent past; spoke highly of the positivedevelopments of the bilateral relations; and reaffirmed their determination tocontinue closely cooperating with Vietnam. Intheir greetings, Cuban top leaders expressed their pride of the historicalrelations of solidarity between the two countries and affirmed their hope thefurther boosting of the bilateral traditional relations of friendship and comprehensivecooperation.

MalaysianKing Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah Ibni AlmarhumSultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah expressed his belief that thecooperation between the two countries will reap more practical outcomes, thusbringing about benefits for the two countries. Intheir greetings, Singaporean leaders spoke highly of the two countries’ mutualsupport in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and said they hope for closercooperation for post-pandemic common recovery and strengthening of ASEAN’scentral role, as well as the maintenance of the open multilateral order withrespect to the law./.
On September 2, 1945, President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence declaring the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
