Hanoi (VNA)⭕ - The 7th Overseas Vietnamese World Golf Championship is scheduled to take place in the northern city of Hai Phong from January 9 to 11.
The event, to be held at Dragon Golf Links and Vinpearl Golf Hai Phong, has recorded nearly 100 participants from 16 countries and territories registering so far. Speaking at a press conference in Hanoi on January 6, Nguyen Manh Dong, Vice Chairman of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese (SCOV) and head of the organising committee, highlighted the development of the overseas Vietnamese (OV) community in recent years, saying they play an influential role in the politics, economy, and society in over 130 countries and territories worldwide.
