HCM City (VNA)💯 – The Global Sourcing Fair Vietnam 2025 opened at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 7 on April 24.

Co-organised by VINEXAD and Global Sources of Hong Kong (China), this year’s exhibition brings together more than 400 exhibitors with 500 booths from countries and territories such as India, Hong Kong (China), Bangladesh, the Philippines, the Republic of Korea (RoK), the Netherlands, and Vietnam. Approximately 30,000 export-standard products are on display, covering key sectors including fashion and accessories, home decor and gifts, and consumer electronics. According to the organisers, the fair is expected to welcome over 10,000 buyers, sourcing agents, and retailers from major markets such as the US, Canada, Germany, France, Spain, the UK, the Middle East, the UAE, China, Japan, and the RoK.
Strategic partners supporting the event include Long Hau Industrial Park, the Wool & Woollens Export Promotion Council (WWEPC), and global logistics marketplace Phaata. Sam Hui, Vice President of Global Sources, noted that the fair not only serves as a commercial platform but also as a strategic springboard for enterprises aiming to thrive amid global uncertainties. As businesses navigate unprecedented challenges and diversify their supply chains, the event offers a critical bridge connecting international buyers with suppliers from Vietnam and across Asia. He added that the fair plays an important role in helping suppliers expand their markets and enabling buyers to access reliable sourcing channels, thus mitigating risks from over-dependence on single markets or suppliers. It contributes to solving trade policy volatility, supply chain disruptions, and cost optimisation.
Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai, Deputy Secretary-General of the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS), highlighted the fair’s role in helping Vietnam’s textile industry reach international markets. She said previous editions had drawn thousands of international buyers and generated positive business outcomes for most participants. With a strong focus on supporting Vietnamese industries, the 2025 edition continues to offer practical opportunities to enhance global reach and build sectoral partnerships, she said, reaffirming VITAS’s commitment to the event. The exhibition runs until April 26, featuring a series of sideline activities, including seminars, fashion shows, and on-site business matching./.
