Gifts presented to Truong Sa soldiers, people

More than 200 delegates from the Vietnam’s People Army, the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Information and Education, provinces, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, as well as journalists and artists paid recently visited soldiers and people in Truong Sa island district in the south-central province of Khanh Hoa.

Khanh Hoa (VNA) – More than 200 delegates from the Vietnam’s People Army, the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Information and Education, provinces, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, as well as journalists and artists paid recently visited soldiers and people in Truong Sa island district in the south-central province of Khanh Hoa.

During their seven-day trip, they visited Song Tu Tay, Con Lin, Sinh Ton, Da Dong A, Da Tay A, and Truong Sa islands and DK-1 platform, and presented gifts worth over 22 billion VND (over 864,500 USD) to soldiers and people there.

They also planted trees and staged art performances, helping 𓆉improve cultural and spiritual lives of the locals./.
