Hanoi (VNA) – General Secretaryof the Vietnam National Assembly (NA) Nguyen Hanh Phuc on August 15 held talkswith General Secretary of the Office of the Mongolian Parliament Tsend Tsolmonwho is on a working visit to Vietnam from August 14-18.

At the meeting, Phuc said the Vietnamese NAappreciated Tsend Tsolmon’s visit to Vietnam, saying he believes that it willhelp advance collaboration between the two legislative bodies and their Officesin particular in a more pragmatic and effective fashion.

Tsend Tsolmon highlighted the fruitful relationshipbetween the two law-making bodies, which, he said, has been demonstratedthrough the regular exchange of delegations.

The guest expressed his wish that the twosides will share experience to promote relations between the two legislative bodiesas well as their Offices.

At the meeting, host and guest held thatVietnam and Mongolia boast long-standing friendship and cooperation, which havebeen strengthened over the past six decades.

They highly valued cooperation agreementsreached by the two legislative bodies and supported the enhancement ofcooperation between the parliamentarians’ groups of the two countries.

They agreed to increase the exchange ofdelegations of leaders of the two Offices annually in order to share experienceand seek ways to boost bilateral cooperation in different periods of time.-VNA
