Fuel prices hike after five cuts in a row

Retail petrol prices were raised by 612 VND (0.027 USD) per litre as of September 18 following five price cuts in a row since July 4 with a combined reduction of 3,000 VND (0.133 USD) per litre.

 Retail petrol prices were raised by 612 VND (0.027 USD) per litre as of 3:00 pm on September 18 following five price cuts in a row since July 4 with a combined reduction of 3,000 VND (0.133 USD) per litre.

The Ministries of Industry and Trade, and Finance set the new ceiling price for RON 92 petrol at 17,950 VND (0.798 USD) per litre and for bio-petrol E5 at 17,455 VND (0.776 USD) per litre.

Prices of diesel and kerosene went up 576 VND and 513 VND per litre, respectively, while that of mazut rose by 297 VND per litre.

This is the 16 th fuel price adjustment this year.

The ministries said the average global price of RON 92 petrol from September 3-17 went up 3 USD per barrel compared to the time of the previou✨s petrol price adjustment.-VNA
