French enterprises eye Vietnam's airports

A delegation of 10 French companies specialising in airport infrastructure arrived in Vietnam on March 16 to explore the domestic airline market.
A delegation of 10 French companies specialising in airportinfrastructure arrived in Vietnam on March 16 to explore thedomestic airline market.

The visit, hosted by the French Embassy's commercial agent, UBIFRANCE, will last until March 18.

This is an opportunity for French companies (including ADPi, APAVE,Bouygues, DEXTRA, EGIS-Avia, GATE, HGH, Thales, Vinci Construction, WFS)to learn more about the potential for upgrading, renovating andbuilding new airports in Vietnam .

The visitoffers a lucrative chance for both sides, with the foreign companiesbeing able to provide hands on experience, from counselling and design,building and operating airports, to ground equipments, advanced securitytechnology and air traffic management. /.
