Founding anniversary greetings to Lao party

During the meeting, delegationleader Deputy Minister Dang Minh Khoi hailed the significantachievements of the LPRP in national building and development over thepast 60 years.

He expressed his belief that Laoswill successfully implement the Resolution of the 9th Party Congressand organise the 10th National Party Congress in 2016.

The Vietnamese Communist Party, State and people always prioritisethe special solidarity, traditional friendship and comprehensivecooperation between Vietnam and Laos, Khoi affirmed.

He also said that the ministry will continue cooperating closely withits Lao counterpart and the Lao Embassy to implement joint agreementsbetween the two nations and the two ministries.

Lao Ambassador to Vietnam Somphone Sichaleune acknowledged the supportprovided by the Party, Government and people of Vietnam for Laos.

He believes the special relationship and comprehensive cooperationwill be ever-lasting, deepening and becoming more effective. He alsopledged to closely work with the ministry to boost the relationship’sdevelopment.

The same day, Senior LieutenantGeneral Mai Quang Phan, member of the Central Party Committee and DeputyDirector of the Vietnam People’s Army’s General Department of Politics(GDP), visited the Lao embassy to convey the Ministry of NationalDefence’s congratulations on the occasion.

Phancalled for fostering defence cooperation between the two countries’armies in terms of education, training and delegation exchanges.-VNA
