HCM City (VNA) - A foundation has been launched in Ho Chi Minh Cityto promote training of people in applied mathematics.
Establishedby the Young Businesspeople Association of HCM City, the Vietnam Foundation forthe promotion of Applied Mathematics seeks to create conditions to fosteroutstanding Ph.D. and graduate students who can pursue research in applied andindustrial mathematics in Vietnam.
Thefoundation will also help training institutions and promote academic exchangesand cooperation between local and foreign universities.
Thebeneficiaries of its financial assistance will be master’s and doctoralstudents at post-graduate training institutions./.
