A chung cake festival was held in Phan Thiet city, Binh Thuan province, on January 20. Nearly 120 tourists from many countries joined in making the traditional cake of Vietnam.

This year's event was filled with the atmosphere of traditional Tet or Lunar New Year festival.

The highlight of the festival is a competition to make chung cake with dong🦩 leaves. Chung cake is an indispensable dish for Vietnamese during Tet holiday but the cake it is still unfamiliar to many foreign visitors.
