Hanoi (VNA) 🦄– Leaders of international political parties around the world have extended their congratulations to Nguyen Phu Trong who was re-elected General Secretary of the 12th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
Congratulations were offered by General Secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Bounnhang Volachith; General Secretary of the Communist Party of China and President Xi Jinping; and President of the Cambodian People’s Party and Prime Minister Hun Sen.
First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba, President of the Council of State and President of the Council of Ministers Raul Castro Ruz, along with General Secretary of the Mexican Labour Party Alberto Anaya Gutierrez; General Secretary of the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan Sadakazu Tanigaki; and Head of the Mongolian Democratic Party and Speaker of Mongolia’s Parliament Enkhbold also cabled congratulatory messages to Vietnam’s newly-elected Party General Secretary.-VNA
