Foreign musicians join HCM City autumn melody fest

A large number of international artists will take part in the 2013 Gala Autumn Melodies to be hosted by the Ho Chi Minh City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera (HBSO) from August 16-22.

Amongthem are German famous pianist Hinrich Alpers, well-known Germanconductor Christian Schumann, renowned Norwegian choreographer JohanneJakhelln, and six young talents from Spivakov foundation (Russia),according to Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) website.

Young Vietnamese talents coming back from abroad such as pianists TranDieu Linh and Tran Dieu An, violinist Bui Cong Duy, clarinetist Dao NhatQuang, bassoonist Nguyen Tri Dung, and dancer Dang Linh Nga will alsoperformed at the annual event.-VNA
