Thedelegation was headed by Politburo member, Secretary of the Communist Party ofVietnam (CPV) Central Committee and Head of itsCommission for Information and Education Vo Van Thuong. Delegates recalled the great contributions by Lenin to the world and Vietnam's revolutionary causes, and expressed determination to continue his ideology and revolutionary path, as well as Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh ideology so as to build a beautiful and civilised Vietnam, contributing to the proletarian revolutionary cause. Theannual activity aims to commemorate Lenin, one of the most eminent politicalfigures and revolutionary thinkers of the 20th century.
