Ninh Binh (VNA)– A float glass manufacturing plant started operation last week in the northernprovince of Ninh Binh’s Khanh Cu Industrial Zone.
Financed by INDEVCO Joint Stock Company, the plant provides 80 million metresof glass annually to meeting the increasing demand of domestic and internationalmarkets.
The plant, which can utilize the province’s available source of limestonematerials, is expected to create 1,000 local jobs.
Chiarman of the provincial People’s Committee Dinh Van Dien said he appreciatesthe efforts by local authorities and the investor to speed up the factory’sconstruction.
At the opening ceremony, the chairman said Ninh Binh has always createdfavourable conditions for businesses and investors in the locality.
The province is now home to 6,000 enterprises and strives to raise the figureto over 10,000 by 2020.-VNA
