Da Nang (VNA) - Over 200 dancers will stage a flash mob bikini performance on April 30 during 𒉰the opening ceremony of a beach festival at Eastern Park in central Da Nang city, which lasts until May 5.
Nguyen Duc Vu, deputy head of Son Tra peninsula’s tourism beaches management board, said the annual event would spark an exciting summer vacation on pristine beaches with various entertainment acts.
The bikini flash mob aims to encourage local residents and tourists to wear swimsuits while bathing in the sea.
Australian band Germein Sisters, including guitarist Germein, pianist Georgial, cellist Ella and drummer Calara, will perform at the park on April 30.
The beach festival will also include water-skiing, paragliding, surfing, kayaking and coracle wagging (round-shaped small lightweight boat steering) during the six-day event.
An exhibition of antiquities and a photo display on Quang Nam and Da Nang will run until May 5 at the city’s Museum at 24 Tran Phu Street.
Many street performances, a clarinet team show and other musical acts will kick off on the main streets of Bach Dang during the short holiday on May Day.-VNA
