Five subsidiaries of PetroVietnam earn national brand title

Among 124 domestic enterprises featuring 283 products officially honoured with the title of 2020 Vietnam National Brands, five are subsidiaries of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam).

Hanoi (VNA) – Among 124 domestic enterprisesfeaturing 283 products officially honoured with the title of 2020 Vietnam e National Brands, five are subsidiaries of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group(PetroVietnam). 

They are PetroVietnam Gas (PV Gas), PetroVietnam Fertilizer& Chemicals Corp (PVFCCo), Petrosetco AssetsManagement JSC (PSA-Petrosetco), PetroVietNam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) and PetroVietnam Camau Fertilizer JSC (PVCFC).

Amid challenges caused by the novel coronavirus(COVID-19) epidemic, this year’s national branding scheme has attracted morethan 1,000 enterprises nationwide.

In comparison to 2018’s event, there are an additional 27 businesseswhich have achieved the award this year, therefore proving the programme’sefficiency to accelerate the import and export of goods and services, whilstalso developing the domestic market.

Launched in 2003, the Vietnam National BrandProgramme is the Vietnamese Government’s long-term trade promotion scheme andaims to introduce and promote the country’s prestigious quality products.

The programme has helped increase awareness amongministries, sectors, and businesses about the importance of building,developing, and protecting brands. It has also honored many prestigiousproducts and enterprises and supported local businesses to improve theircapacity and build their brand.

Participation in the programme helps businessesimprove their reputation for quality products and gain easier access todomestic and foreign markets through trade promotion programmes organized bythe Ministry of Industry and Trade./.
