Jakarta (VNA) – ♋Malaysian authorities on January 27 announced that they recovered five more bodies on the beach of Johor state.

Earlier, police discovered the bodies of nine women and four men on Kelise beach, a 90-minute drive from state capital Johor Bahru.
The Indonesian Consulate General in Malaysia ’s Johor state confirmed that the 13 bodies found washed up on the eastern shores of the state are indeed Indonesian nationals.
The police said that the bodies might have come from an Indonesian boat carrying illegal migrants capsized offshore Johor state, southern Malaysia , said the police, adding that research and rescue are undergone. Up to 35 people were believed to have been on the boat.-VNA
