Six other members of the ring, Nguyen Tuan Anh, Trinh Van Thu, NguyenBa Doi, Cao Van Tuan, Tran Thi Ty and Tran Van Cuong were sentenced tolife imprisonment. A further 12 members received jail sentences ofbetween 15-20 years.
According to the indictment,the members of the ring trafficked 110 bars of heroin weighing a totalof 37.4 kg and 80 methamphetamine pills - a street total value of over2.2 billion VND (100,000 USD) and 9,800 USD from 2006 to April, 2011.-VNA
