First gas flow from Thien Ung field pumped

The Vietnam-Russia Oil and Gas Joint Venture Enterprise (Vietsovpetro) has welcomed the first flow of oil and condensate from TU-6 well of BK-TNG platform in the Thien Ung field.

Hanoi (VNA) – The Vietnam-Russia Oil and Gas Joint Venture Enterprise(Vietsovpetro) has welcomed the first flow of oil and condensate from TU-6 wellof BK-TNG platform in the Thien Ung field.

About 540,000 cubic metres of gas and 200 tonnes of condensate a day aregenerated from the well.

Vietsovpetro has applied technical solutions to bring gas and condensate to themainland via Bach Ho oil as soon as possible.

BK-TNG platform in the Thien Ung field is part of Lot 04-3, which was assignedto the VietnamNational Oil and Gas Group (PVN) and Russia’s AO Zarubezhneft Oil and Gas Company. Vietsovpetro was assigned as the manager.

The Thien Ung field was discovered by Vietsovpetro in 2009.-VNA
