The Vietnamese Government is committed to creating the most favourable conditions to attract film projects and is eager to listen to feedback from US partners, a diplomat has said.

A meeting between a delegation of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and representatives of the Los Angeles city administration is an important stepping stone toward cooperation in tourism and film between Vietnam and the US.

One of the highlight cultural events in Ho Chi Minh City this year was the Ho Chi Minh City International Film Festival, with the city adopting a policy of attracting investment in cinema and cultural activities to contribute to overall economic growth.
