Tokyo (VNA)🅰 - A Vietnamese delegation has attended the International Participants Meeting (IPM) for EXPO 2025 in Hyogo prefecture of Japan, which aimed to brief participating governments and international organisations on plans for exhibitions and pavilions at EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai.

Tran Nhat Hoang, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Department under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, said that this marks the 7th time Vietnam has participated in the Expo.
He emphasised that EXPO 2025 offers Vietnam a platform to showcase its cultural identity, development potential, and connect to the world, particularly with Japan. The participation in the expo aligns with Vietnam’s broader strategy to deepen its Comprehensive Strategic Partnership with Japan and contribute to peace and prosperity in Asia and globally. It also serves as a chance to enhance mutual trust and understanding between the two nations. On the sidelines of the meeting, the Vietnamese delegation engaged in discussions with ASEAN representatives, Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry, and EXPO 2025’s support center. These interactions aim to foster cooperation and prepare for Vietnam’s active role in the exhibition./.
