Hanoi (VNA) 💝– The Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and its brilliant milestones were the focus of an exhibition opened in Hanoi on January 16 in celebration of the Party’s 95th founding anniversary (February 3, 1930 - 2025).

In his opening remarks, Director of the Vietnam National Museum of History Nguyen Van Doan said that the event displays over 150 objects kept at the museum and the Archives Department of the Party Central Committee Office. It provides an overview of the establishment and the 13th national congresses of the CPV, whose clear-sighted decisions and policies together with the solidarity, joint efforts, and consensus of the entire Party, people, and army have created historic and significant milestones for the nation. The resounding victories of the struggles for national independence, peace, liberation of the South, and national reunification, as well as achievements in “Doi moi” (renewal) and national development form important stepping stones and valuable lessons for the country to continue realising development goals set by the national Party congresses.
In particular, he noted, the exhibition also showcases items demonstrating the people’s sentiment toward the Party, Party resolutions and documents, along with works and speeches by Party General Secretaries and State Presidents throughout different historical periods. Besides, photos are also on show to reflect the preparations for the coming 14th National Party Congress, and activities of the Politburo and the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat. The event is intended to give the public, especially young people, insights into the Party’s history and judicious leadership over the last 95 years, inspire their national pride, and encourage them to act to help with the construction and safeguarding of the Fatherland so as to open up a new era – that of the nation’s rise, Doan added. The first part of the exhibition highlights President Ho Chi Minh’s role in the dissemination of Marxism-Leninism in Vietnam and the establishment of the CPV on February 3, 1930.
The second focuses on the Party’s guidelines and policies identified at the 13 national congresses, historic landmarks of the country, and achievements gained under the Party’s leadership since 1930, especially during nearly 40 years of “Doi moi” and integration into the world. The last part puts on display the efforts to prepare for the 14th National Party Congress, including the collection of feedback on the draft documents to be submitted to the congress and the training of personnel groomed for membership of the 14th-tenure Party Central Committee. The exhibition is scheduled to last through March 16./.
