Exhibition shows Vietnam through the lens of int’l photographers
Outstanding photos of Vietnam taken by foreign photographers are going to be displayed at an exhibition held in northern Ninh Binh province from November 26 to December 3.

Hanoi (VNA) – Outstandingphotos of Vietnam taken by foreign photographers are going to be displayed at anexhibition held in northern Ninh Binh province from November 26 to December 3.
The event, which is the focus of theVietnam International Photography Festival, will be organised at the Library ofNinh Binh province, No. 4 Le Hong Phong street in Ninh Binh city, according tothe Department of Arts, Photography and Exhibition under the Ministry ofCulture, Sports and Tourism.
The first photography festival, whichwill be held biennially to help popularise images of Vietnam and enhanceinternational cooperation via photography, attracted 1,567 entries by 98professional and amateur photographers from 19 countries and territories.
Among them, 177 photos by 93 photographerswere selected for the exhibition. They are vivid demonstrations of the beautyof Vietnam’s land, people, and culture, the department said.
The exhibition is open to visitors freeof charge and also available on the department’s website at ./.
The ninth national tourism art photo competition, themed “Explore Vietnam”, was launched by the Tourism Magazine of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism. The organising board presented one first, two second, three third and five consolation prizes.
A collection of 10 photos depicting Vietnamese culture taken by local photographer Tran Tuan Viet have been posted by @earthpix, Instagram’s largest travel account with over 20 million followers, reported the Voice of Vietnam (VOV).
The photo “Bamboo basket seller” by Vietnamese photographer Ly Hoang Long was placed on the top list of the “Travels” photo competition held by All About Photo (AAP) Magazine. The photo was taken in Tat Vien village just outside Hanoi.

The exhibition showcases more than 100 valuable documents and artifacts, divided into two main parts: “Journalist Nguyen Ai Quoc – Ho Chi Minh” and “President Ho Chi Minh – Founder and Mentor of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press.” This is an opportunity to recall the late leader’s journalism journey and affirm his exceptional role in founding and guiding the revolutionary press in Vietnam.
