Exhibition shows beauty of Italian knowledge

Hanoi (VNA) - A special exhibitionfeaturing the heritage, development and achievements of Italy opened in Hanoion May 6.

With the theme “Italy: The Beauty of Knowledge”,the exhibition showcases ideas, images, videos, tools, objects and materialsprovided by Italian Research System.

Visitors will discover the beauty of Italythrough different parts: Health, Environment, Space, Food and Nutrition andCultural Heritage.

The exhibition aims at conveying thenon-traditional, creative and dynamic collisions that make up the Italianresearch system, combining knowledge with the artistic tradition of Italy aswell as the renowned Italian lifestyle and art of well-being.

It tells a multi-layered story including a filmthat links the objects presented with the different elements of theexhibition’s themes. Directed by Stefano Incerti, the film brings emotionalscenes from places where research takes place.

It presents an interactive space combiningvirtual and physical components to express this message.

“Italy is renowned for its history andtradition, but it has also been an active laboratory of innovation, wherefascinating challenges are faced and where it is possible to imagine and planfor a better future,” said Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs andInternational Cooperation (MAECI), Enzo Moavero Milanesi.

“The exhibition is an immersive experience thataims to communicate the dynamic and beautiful nature of the quest for knowledgeand research in Italy.”

The exhibition is organised by theMAECI, the Italian National Research Council (CNR) with the contributionof the four main Italian science museums: Idis-Citta Science Foundation(Naples), Galileo Museum (Florence); Museum of Science (Trento), and Leonardoda Vinci - the National Museum of Science and Technology (Milan).

The exhibition was first inaugurated in Romelast year, and then it moved to Egypt, India, Singapore and Indonesia.

The exhibition will run until June 16 at theHanoi Museum, Pham Hung street, on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of thedeath of Leonardo da Vinci.

Later on, the exhibition will move to Guangzhouof China and Buenos Aires of Argentina.-VNA
