Exchange progamme in Bac Ninh marks Moncada Barracks attack

Addressing the event, Vice Chairman of theBac Ninh province People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phong highlighted the close,faithful and pure relationship between Vietnam and Cuba which has been cultivatedby President Ho Chi Minh and President Fidel Castro, and fostered bygenerations of leaders and people of the two countries.
He briefed the participants on outstandingachievements Bac Ninh has recorded over the past time, saying he believes thatthe bilateral time-honoured relationship will always be preserved andstrengthened, and that Cuba will win more victories in national constructionand defence.
Cuban Ambassador to Vietnam Herminio LopezDiaz said Cuba is willing to cooperate with and support Vietnam in general andBac Ninh in particular in bilateral activities, for mutual development. -VNA
President Tran Dai Quang has urged the Vietnamese and Cuban Parties and States to continuously direct ministries and relevant departments to step up the existing bilateral cooperation mechanisms and refine a legal framework for stable and long-term collaboration.
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc called on Vietnam and Cuba to boost cooperation in such potential fields as agriculture, biotechnology, construction, tourism infrastructure, and telecommunication while receiving Chairman of the Cuban National Assembly Esteban Lazo Hernandez in Hanoi on June 12.
