The EVN SPC has invested in more than 75 kilometers of 22-110kV underground cables and over 305 kilometers of 22-110kV power lines.
It has also poured money into building a nearly 255km low voltage power line along with 558 transformer stations with a total capacity of some 105,000 kVA.
In 2016, the company will carry out more projects to generate power for island communes in the southern province of Kien Giang such as Lai Son in Kien Hai district and Hon Nghe in Kien Luong district.
The projects are expected to be completed in April 2016.

The total power output of the electricity sector in the first ten months of this year reached 136.25 billion kWh, up 12.95 percent compared to the same period last year.
As many as 900 communes have yet to hand over their low-voltage grids to the Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) corporation, even though the deadline for the transfer is the end of this year.
