Hanoi (VNA) – President of the Republic of Estonia Kersti Kaljulaid has affirmedthat her country always wants to further promote cooperation with Vietnam,especially in the fields of education, health care, biotechnology, and farmproduce and foodstuff exports.
Duringa reception in Tallin on February 15 for Vietnamese Ambassador Pham Thi NgocBich who came to present her credentials, President Kaljulaid expressed her delightat the new progresses in the traditional relationship between Estonia andVietnam.
Sheemphasised that Estonia is one of the world’s leading countries in terms of technologicalapplication in Statement management and daily life, and Estonian private companiesare willing to partner with Vietnam in the field.
Bichconveyed State President Tran Dai Quang’s congratulations to Kersti Kaljulaid onher election as the first President of Estonia last October.
Shespoke highly of Estonia’s development in different areas, especially ininformation technology and e-government, and expected that Estonia would shareexperience with Vietnam in these fields.

The Chairman stressed the need for stricter fiscal discipline, faster digital transformation, and more efficient management of State budget revenues and expenditures.
