🎐 Currently, one company has declared quarantine to import 500pigs from Thailand to Vietnam for slaughter. The pigs are scheduled to be sentto a quarantne area in central Nghe An province on June 17, the department said.

This is the first time Vietnam has permitted the import of live pigs, in a bid to counter skyrocketing pig prices in the domesticmarket./.
Pork imports rocketed over the last two months as market demand surges ahead the Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday, which is only a few weeks away, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT)’s Agency of Foreign Trade.
