Despite being weeks away from peak harvest season, Hung Yen’s signature egg-shaped lychees are already sold out thanks to a surge in pre-orders.

Farmers in Phu Cu and An Thi districts in the northern province of Hung Yen are rushed off their feet these days harvesting lychee crop. The size of chicken eggs and with a nice appearance and sweet aroma, the lychees have won favour among consumers from far and wide.
