Drug trafficking suspects arrested in Son La, Hoa Binh
Police in the northern mountainous province of Son La arrested a suspect illegally transporting nearly 6.5 kilogrammes of heroin in Long Luong commune, Van Ho district, on April 17.
Son La (VNA) – Police in the northernmountainous province of Son La arrested a suspect illegally transporting nearly6.5 kilogrammes of heroin in Long Luong commune, Van Ho district, on April 17.
The suspected drug trafficker is Giang A Cau,born in 1981, a resident of Long Luong commune’s Ta De village.
The police seized 20 bars of heroin, 198methamphetamine tablets, a motorbike and other related evidence.
On the same day, police in the northern provinceof Hoa Binh stopped two suspicious men on a motorbike on Highway 6 in Tuan Lo communein Tan Lac district.
The forces discovered 10 bars of heroin (almost3.5kg) under the bottom of the vehicle.
The two suspects, Nguyen Duc Thuan, born in1973, and Ngo Duong Thanh, born in 1972, both residents of Thai Nguyen city inthe northern province of Thai Nguyen, admitted they were hired to carry thedrugs from Son La province to Hoa Binh province.
The two cases are under investigation by policein Hoa Binh and Son La provinces.-VNA
