"Dream car” art contest launched for children

Toyota Motor Vietnam Co.Ltd in coordination with Thieu nien Tien phong va Nhi dong (Young Pioneers and Children) Newspaper has launched the 11th Toyota Dream Car Art contest.

Hanoi (VNA) – ToyotaMotor Vietnam Co.Ltd in coordination with Thieunien Tien phong va Nhi dong (Young Pioneers and Children) Newspaper has launchedthe 11th Toyota Dream Car Art contest.

The contest is open for children under the ageof 15 across the country, dividing into two rounds. In the first round, participants submit their entries from now until the end ofDecember 28 this year and the results are expected to be announced in Februarynext year. The organising board will select the nine best paintings to enter the final round in Japan in February 2022.

The entries for the contest consists of twocategories - hand-drawn works and graphic ones. Students can submit their drawings directly to the organising board or send them by post.

The dream car art contest has been organisedannually by Toyota Motor Corporation since 2004. In Vietnam, since the2011-2012 school year, the initiative has become one of the largest-scale drawingcontests nationwide with about 5 million entries after 10 years.

♍ Vietnam re-elected to 2005 UNESCO Convention’s Intergovernmental Committee

This is the first time since the adoption of the Convention that a country has served two consecutive terms on the Committee.
