Dong Nai (VNA) –It is Dong Nai province’s stance to go along with enterprises, and authoritieswill create the best conditions for them to do business in a stable andlong-term manner, a leading official of the province has stated.

At a dialogue on October 5 betweenrepresentatives of the provincial authorities and more than 80 enterprises ofthe Republic of Korea (RoK) operating in the province, Vice Chairman of theDong Nai People’s Committee Tran Van Vinh further elaborated that localauthorities will work with infrastructure investors to find out a way to lower therental fees in industrial zones in the province, claimed to be higher than thosein other localities.

Representatives of the RoKfirms thanked local authorities for their support in the recent past andexpressed their hope that Dong Nai will continue the administrative procedurereform and improve the transport infrastructure, along with policies on taxationand customs. They also raised various problems they are confronting such as thehigh rental fees, while representatives of local authorities took turn to addressthe problems.

The annual event, held tohelp local authorities and businesses exchange ideas on the bottlenecks intheir operation, also saw representatives of nearly 40 local firms seek chancesof cooperation with RoK partners.

Currently RoK still retainsthe top position in foreign investment in Dong Nai province, totaling 5.6billion USD. Over the past years, RoK firms investing in the province have enjoyedeffective operation and business.-VNA
