Discussions on socio-economic development solutions at the 14th National Assembly’s seventh session will continue to be broadcast live on national television and radio on May 31 morning.

Hanoi (VNA) – Discussions on socio-economic development solutions atthe 14th National Assembly’s seventh session will continue to be broadcast liveon national television and radio on May 31 morning.
Lawmakers will exchange opinions on theGovernment’s supplementary report on socio-economic and State budgetperformance in 2018 and first months of 2019, as well as the balance of theState budget in 2017.
During the discussion session, Governmentmembers will make clear issues that NA deputies concern.
In the afternoon, lawmakers scrutinise the draftLaws on amendments and supplementations to a number of articles of the Law onInsurance Business, and the Law on Intellectual Property, which were discussedin group on May 20.
The promulgation of the Laws on amendmentsand supplementations to a number of articles of the Law on Insurance Business,and the Law on Intellectual Property aims to continue perfecting domestic legalregulations to effectively implement commitments in the Comprehensive andProgressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP).

The National Assembly will spend the entire day on May 30 to discuss the Government’s supplementary report on socio-economic and State budget performance in 2018 and early months of 2019.
The Ministry of Education and Training has assured that there will be enough stocks of textbooks based on new curriculums for all school grades starting in the 2020-21 academic year.
