The Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (DE) of Thailand has announced a new initiative to boost the country’s digital content industry, which includes e-sports and gaming.

Thailand’s Digital Economy Promotion Agency (DEPA) is scaling up efforts to forge the establishment of Thailand-based game service providers as another driver for this multibillion-baht industry.

The Ministry of Information and Communications organised a workshop on Vietnamese-branded IT products and services in Ho Chi Minh City on December 7.
