Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc received Lao Minister of Planning and Investment Somdy Douangdy in Hanoi on September 10, during which he proposed that Laos support the implementation of Vietnam-invested projects there. The Deputy PM hailed the fruitful cooperation between the two Ministries of Planning and Investment, especially in exchanging experience in attracting official development assistance (ODA), green growth and in integration in socio-economic plans to boost sustainable development.
He also praised the effective cooperation agreements between the two ministries, hoping the two sides will continue collaborating closely to enhance the efficiency of ODA, thus fostering socio-economic growth in each country.
For his part, Douangdy briefed his host on the outcomes of working sessions with his Vietnamese counterpart, during which the two sides shared how to build socio-economic development strategies and design visions through 2030.
