Deputy PM affirms support of International Investment Bank reform

Hanoi (VNA) – Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh has told President of Internationa🧸l Investment Bank (IIB) Nikolay Kosov that Vietnam’s Government support IIB’s plan for comprehensive reforms to develop the 𒁏bank in accordance with international standards.

At his meeting on December 4 with the IIB President, Ninh reiterated that Vietnam will continue working closely with the IIB and its members in the reforms and towards the strategic goals of the bank.
He affirmed that as an IIB member, Vietnam is working to build a favourable business climate for the bank to operate in Vietnam.
Kosov thanked Deputy PM Ninh and spoke highly of Vietnam’s active role during the bank’s reform over the past three years. He informed the Deputy PM that the IIB has provided 40 million USD to support small- and medium-sized enterprises in Vietnam in recent years and unveiled that the bank is now capable of funding larger projects, especially those in the area of infrastructure development.-VNA
