Dak Lak marks All People’s Security Safeguard Festival

Dak Lak (VNA) 𓃲– Deputy Prime Minister TranLuu Quang attended the All People’s Security Safeguard Festival which wasopened in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak on August 14.
Speaking at the event, the Deputy Prime Ministeremphasised that in the coming time, the province needs to continue to strictly implementthe instructions on building the movement “All People Safeguard Security of the Country”, making the movement deeper, more substantive and effective with good practices while mobilising strength of the wholepolitical system and people to ensure security and order and building a peacefuland happy life for everyone. He said the festival must be maintained annually,attracting a large number of people to participate in order to become a greatfestival of people from all walks of life.

The province needs to focus on building goodmodels and timely rewarding examples in the implementation of the movement. Inaddition, localities need to strengthen communication works on guidelines ofthe Party, policies and laws of the State, requirements and tasks of nationalsecurity and order protection in the new situation to the people, he added. On the occasion, outstanding groups, individuals whohave contributions in the “All People’s Security Safeguard” movement wereawarded Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Public Security./.

The All People’s Security Safeguard Festival was held in Hanoi's Quan Thanh ward on August 17, on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of August Revolution and National Day, the 77th traditional day of the People’s Public Security, and the 17th anniversary of All People’s Security Safeguard Festival.
Participants at a conference in Hanoi on July 7 proposed solutions to contribute to maintaining stability, security and order, and socio-economic development in the Central Highlands.
A delegation led by Phan Dinh Trac, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Chairman of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Internal Affairs, commemorated martyrs in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak on July 24.
The programmes have brought about positive changes to rural infrastructure, comprehensively improved the material and spiritual lives of farmers, and contributed to Vietnam's economic restructuring, said PM Pham Minh Chinh.
The festival highlighted the contributions and robust development of Vietnam's revolutionary press over the past century while promoting press products and showcasing the creativity of Vietnamese journalists.
The programme on sustainable poverty reduction has achieved its annual targets for reducing the poverty rate as assigned by the National Assembly and the Government. It has fulfilled five specific objectives and five five-year goals, and met nine out of 12 indicators related to addressing basic social service shortages.

At a review conference held on June 21, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh praised the province’s scientific, coordinated, and flexible approach.
