Da Nang (VNA) – A webinar entitled “Invest in Da Nangᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ 2020” calling for investment fromthe Republic of Korea (RoK) was recently held in the central city of Da Nang.

Most of RoK firmsspoke highly of investment process and administrative procedures in investmentin Da Nang, said KOTRA Director in Da Nang Lee Sung-nyung. He said that Da Nangis currently among the smartest and most advanced cities of Vietnam, withvarious advantages in tourism, services, hi-tech industry and IT, among others. KOTRA will enhanceactivities to connect and support RoK business delegations to exploreinvestment chances in Da Nang in the coming time, he affirmed. As of November, theRoK had channeled more than 376 million USD into 233 projects in Da Nang,primarily in property, industrial production and services. The central city ishome to a total of 876 foreign investment projects worth 3.52 billion USD asof mid-November. Despite the adverseimpact of COVID-19, Da Nang successfully held three online investmentpromotions targeting the markets of Europe, the US, Taiwan (China) and Japan./.
