Visitors to Da Nang can easily locate public toilets that are open for free throughout the central city, via an application launched recently on the Danang Smart City mobile app.
Da Nang (VNA) – Visitorsto Da Nang can easily locate public toilets that are open forfree throughout the central city, via an application launched recently on the Danang Smart City mobile app.
Deputy Director of the city’sDepartment of Information and Communications Tran Nꩵgoc Thach said to searchfor free public toilets, local residents and tourists could download the DanangSmart City app, then choose a facility close to their location.
The name of the facility,address and distance will be shown on the app, he said, adding that 294 locations have beenupdated on the app, including 228 sites in Hai Chau district and 66 in Son Tra district.
In March this year,the People's Committee of Son Tra district deployed the "Comfort ashome” model which has been actively responded by many hotels, restaurants andaccommodation establishments, contributing to promoting the image of a friendlycity.
Thach said that on June 1,the municipal Department of Information and Communications sent a writtenrequest to the People's Committees of districts calling on businesses, restaurant💞s,hotels, and catering establishments to join the campaign and update on the appto b🗹etter serve local residents and visitors.
Danang Smart City is anintegrating multi-service app which was put into use since 2020, with more than1.2 million users. It provides useful information and consultation onadministrative procedures and public services for local residents./.
