Theuniversity’s rector, Prof.Dr. Nguyen Duc Hoa, affirmed that over thepast few years, Da Lat University has provided high-quality training to anumber of officials from the Central Highlands region andneighbouring provinces, and is climbing the ranks in Vietnam ’seducation system.
Currently, the university provides 44 majors in science-technology, social humanities, economics and pedagogy.
Lecturers at the university always focus on expanding their trainingmajors from basic sciences to the more practical and specific ones, suchas law, foreign languages, business administration, accounting, andbiotechnology.
To date, over 43,000 people gained degrees from the university.
In addition to training local students, Da Lat University alsocooperates with over 40 educational institutions in the south centraland southeast regions to recruit more than 27,000 students.-VNA
The programmes have brought about positive changes to rural infrastructure, comprehensively improved the material and spiritual lives of farmers, and contributed to Vietnam's economic restructuring, said PM Pham Minh Chinh.
