Da Lat records surge in tourist arrivals during Tet holidays
Da Lat resort city in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong has seen a sharp increase of tourist arrivals during the traditional Lunar New Year (Tet) holidays.

Lam Dong (VNA) – Da Lat resort cityin the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong has seen a sharp increase oftourist arrivals during the traditional Lunar New Year (Tet) holidays.
Visitors are mostly from Ho Chi Minh Cityand Dong Nai, Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau provinces.
Major attractions in Da Lat, such as thecity’s park, the Valley Of Love and Datanla waterfall, were filled withvisitors.
However, the city recorded no overloadingand traffic jams at those destinations.
Local authorities have instructed coachesheading to Da Lat to travel on Mimoza mountain pass instead of Prenn pass, toprevent congestion at the city’s gateway.
As one of famous resort cities in Vietnam,Da Lat embraces the typical natural and cultural features of the CentralHighlands. The city, nestled at 1,500 metres above sea level, is quiet andpretty all year with mild climate and temperatures varying between 15 and 24degree Celsius.
It is known by several names which allindicate its romantic beauty: “Little Paris”, “City of Pine Forests” and “Landof Mist”. But the name “Kingdom of flowers” is perhaps its most impressive andaccurate. -VNA
