Singapore International Cyber Week 2024 (SICW 2024) is underway in the city-state on October 14 with theme “Building Trust and Security in the Emerging Digital Order”.

Taking advantage of the upcoming Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday, when demand for online transactions, payments, gifts and to send lucky money increases, many hacker groups are stepping up their fraudulent activities aimed at users of banking services and e-wallets.

A workshop focusing on the need to establish groups to handle cyber security problems and maintain safe cyber operations was held in Ho Chi Minh City December 6.
