Cuban doctors to work in Vietnam

Hanoi(VNA) – The Thu Cuc International General Hospital and the Cuban Ministry ofHealth’s SMC Company signed a contract on March 16 on sending Cuban doctors towork in Vietnam.

Under the deal,Cuban doctors will work at the Thu Cuc International General Hospital in thefields of obstetrics, gynaecology, paediatrics, cosmetic surgery, cosmeticdermatology, and family doctor.

A representativeat the Hanoi Department of Health said Hanoi will create favourable conditionsfor Cuban doctors to work in Vietnam.

Marta Covas,Cuba’s Deputy Minister of Health affirmed the Cuban Ministry of Health will providenecessary assistance to bring Cuban doctors to Vietnam as soon as possible.
