Da Nang (VNA) – Enhanced cooperation and experience sharing between the High People’s Court in the central city of Da Nang and the People’s Court of central Laos will contribute to bolstering the comprehensive collaboration between the two Parties, states and peoples, a senior leader of Da Nang has said.
Hosting a reception for a delegation from the Lao court in Da Nang on June 5, Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Le Trung Chinh highlighted that the Da Nang Party organisation and people always attach much importance to and treasure the special traditional friendship between the two nations as well as the friendship and effective cooperation between Da Nang and southern and central Lao provinces.
Meanwhile, Chief Justice of the People’s Court of central Laos Phom Su Van Philachan expressed his impression on the socio-economic development and sound infrastructure of Da Nang city, and thanked the city’s leaders for supporting five southern and central provinces.

He also spoke highly of the achievements that the High People’s Court in Da Nang has carved out over the past time, particularly the building of e-court and arrangement of online trial.
He said he hopes that Da Nang and the five Lao provinces will continue promoting cooperation and development for further success in the coming time.
Earlier, the two courts held talks and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), reaching consensus on enhancing collaboration and experience sharing to improve trial quality.
Da Nang has signed 37 agreements and MoUs with seven Lao localities. Its cooperation ties with five southern and central Lao provinces has been carried out effectively with many projects implemented, including construction and upgrade of schools, public facilities and Vietnamese language teaching centre, granting of scholarships for Lao students, and support for the study of local socio-economic development planning.
