Consulate General in Lao city shows gratitude to invalids, martyrs
The Vietnamese Consulate General in Pakse city in Champasak province of Laos, in collaboration with the Vietnamese Association in the province, organised activities on July 20-21 to show gratitude for families of invalids, martyrs and those who rendered service to the revolution.

Vientiane (VNA) - The Vietnamese Consulate General in Pakse city in Champasak province of Laos, in collaboration with the Vietnamese Association in theprovince, organised activities on July 20-21 to show gratitude for families ofinvalids, martyrs and those who rendered service to the revolution.
This was an activity held annually by the Consulate General onthe occasion of the War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27).
Visiting and giving gifts to 23 families in Paksong districtand Pakse city, representatives of the Consulate General expressed deepgratitude for the sacrifices and losses of invalids, martyrs and those renderingservice to the nation; and at the same time affirmed that the Vietnamese Partyand State always remember their sacrifices.
Representatives of the families said that they will maintaintheir contributions to Vietnam’s national building and development cause, and tonurturing the two countries’ relations./.

It is also a moment for Vietnam’s media to accelerate its progress and figure out what the “revolutionary press” means in a new era.
From “Thanh nien”, Vietnam’s first revolutionary newspaper founded by Nguyen Ai Quoc (later President Ho Chi Minh) on June 21, 1925, the revolutionary press has remained devoted to its sacred missions -accompanying the nation, serving the Fatherland, and working for the people.
