Congratulations to leaders of Russian, Moroccan parliaments

Hanoi (VNA) – Chairman of the National Assembly (NA)Vuong Dinh Hue on October 14 offered congratulations to Chairman VyacheslavViktorovich Volodin and members of the StateDuma of Russia on the success of the elections of the 8th State Duma (September 17 - 19).
Henoted with satisfaction that the Vietnam - Russia comprehensive strategic partnershipand the cooperation between the Vietnamese NA and the Russian State Duma havemade great strides, especially the two legislative bodies’ agreement toestablish an inter-parliamentary cooperation committee on December 24, 2018.
Chairman Hue expressed his belief that he will continuereceiving close cooperation from the State Duma leader to further enhance thesound cooperative ties between the two sides, thereby significantly contributingto the strong, extensive, and effective Vietnam - Russia ties.
He also invited the Russian Duma Chairman to visit and attend the second meeting of the inter-parliamentary cooperationcommittee in Vietnam when possible.
The Vietnamese legislator hoped to have online talkswith the State Duma Chairman to discuss the countries’ relations and thelegislative bodies’ cooperation.
The same day, Chairman Hue sent letters of congratulations toMoroccan Speaker of the House of Advisors Naam Miyara and Speaker of the Houseof Representatives Rachid Talbi Alami on their elections to the posts.
In his letters, he expressed his delight that the Vietnam -Morocco friendship and multifaceted cooperation, including relations between theirlegislative bodies, have been growing vigorously, and that leaders and peoplesof both countries have always paid attention to developing their sound traditionalties.
On the basis of the cooperation deal signed between theVietnamese NA and the Moroccan House of Representatives in December 2017, thetop legislator voiced his hope for continued coordination with Speaker RachidTalbi Alami to promote the substantive and practical implementation of bilateralcooperation activities.
Given the achievements during the 60 years of Vietnam - Moroccorelations, Hue said he wishes to join the two speakers in continuing to fosterthe friendship and multifaceted cooperation between two countries, as well asbetween the legislative bodies, for the sake of the two peoples and for regionaland international peace, stability, and development./.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son and Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates Nasser Bourita held phone talks on April 16 to discuss bilateral cooperation and coordination in multilateral forums.
