Hanoi (VNA) 🦩– The Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) has cabled a congratulatory message to the Central Committee of Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) over its 65th founding anniversary (June 28, 1951).
The message said under the leadership of the People’s Party, Cambodians have overcome enormous difficulties and challenges to win glorious victories in the cause of national independence, saving people from the genocidal disaster, and revising the country.
The party also helped people to implement successfully the peace guidelines and national concord, as well as play a crucial role in national building and development, increasing the position of Cambodia in the global arena.
The Vietnamese Party and people congratulate the CPP and Cambodian people on their significant achievements in both internal and external fields.
Vietnam is delighted that the sound neighbourliness, traditional friendship, comprehensive, long-term and sustainable cooperation with Cambodia is deepening to bring practical benefits to the two peoples as well as actively contribute to the maintenance of peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and around the world.-VNA
Cambodian Senior Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Prak Sokhon has pledged to further strengthen cooperation between the two foreign ministries.
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has requested promoting the Vietnam-Cambodia Joint Committee on Economic, Cultural, Scientific and Technological Cooperation mechanism.
