Condolences extended to Oman over death of Sultan Qaboos

Hanoi (VNA) – Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong on January 14sent a message of condolences to the new Sultan of Oman Haitham Bin Tariq Bin Taimour over the death of Sultan Qaboos Bin Said.
Sultan Qaboospassed away on January 10 at the age of 79.
Also on January14, Deputy Foreign Minister Dang Minh Khoi visited the Embassy of Oman in Hanoito offer his sympathy and sign the condolence book./.
Sixty local firms and 10 Omani enterprises operating in various fields sought investment partnership at a seminar held in Hanoi on March 22 by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT), the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the Vietnam-Oman Investment (VOI) joint-venture.
The third meeting of the Vietnam-Oman Joint Committee on Economic and Technical Cooperation took place in Hanoi on March 23, focusing on reviewing the implementation of cooperation agreements reached at the previous meeting and seeking measures to further promote bilateral affiliation in the future.
